Hi and welcome to Kiannapark Pointers & Italian Greyhounds run by Jo & Stuart McCarthy.

We are a small kennel striving to produce quality Pointers & Italian Greyhounds. We are situated about 30 minutes from Perth City and the Airports in Canning Vale, one of WA's kennel zones.

Established in 1992 with the purchase of my first Pointer, Carenup Imagination (Natasha). Natasha wasn't the nicest person to get along with when she first came to me. She had been in less than ideal homes and had been teased by children and left on a chain in all sorts of weather but with a little time and a lot of love she became a real sweetheart. In her first year with me she not only became a Champion show dog but she also produced her first litter. From this litter was my precious sole mate and top show bitch CH Kiannapark Make A Wish (Gidget).
Gidget was the first Kiannapark baby to hit the show ring and at her very first outing was awarded Baby Puppy in Show (GunDog Show) under Breed Specialist Mr David Wong....... What a way to start!!

In 1993 I started helping a friend with her Italian Greyhounds and formed a love of this breed also. In 1996 I was given my first IG, Mirica The Anarchist (Christian). Christian titled in no time, winning many classes in group along the way. I had a couple of IGs in the years to come but they didn't make the grade as show dogs so Christian became my only IG UNTIL 2004 when I saw an ad on the Wondoan web site for a fawn puppy bitch............Well! I just had to have her, so along came Grace (CH Wondoan What About Grace).
Grace was not in love with being a show dog but when the mood suited her she excelled, winning many classes in group and in 2007 Winning BEST EXHIBIT in TOY GROUP at The PERTH ROYAL SHOW.

We occassionally have puppies available and we are prepared to let older dogs go to loving homes where they can have their own humans & become family members.

Any dogs we sell or rehome are welcome back for boarding free of charge for short stays and I am always available to provide support/advice to anyone who needs it.
